Golden Textures is a small abstract study in color and surface, built from layered washes of gold, ochre, olive and deep umber. Speckled, granular textures and lighter lifted passages suggest lichen on stone or sunlight on a forest floor without describing either. The warm palette and restless surface reward a closer look, revealing new patterns the longer you stay with it.
